A Pieman lookalike is terrorizing Springfield. Lisa introduces Homer to Bumblebee Man's evil partner, Evil Bumblebee Man, and explains that there is also and evil version of himself out there. Suddenly, Homer is arrested by the police for bringing fear to Springfield in the form of Pieman. He is soon released when it is realized the Evil Pieman is currently holding up a store. Chief Wiggum takes Homer to said store, where they discover the evil lookalike is Krusty the Clown. Krusty is about to be arrested when his lawyer arrives and tells Wiggum that Krusty cannot be imprisoned since he is a celebrity. Homer retaliates by throwing a pie at the lawyer.

Homer is bitten on the finger by a squirrel. Bart and Milhouse, as Bartman and Houseboy, investigate the matter by following the squirrel. They meet another pair of superheroes, who they believe are the 'second' versions of themselves. Bartman discovers that an evil girl dressed as a squirrel is making the furry creatures do her dirty work. The duo, with their newfound companions, find Squirrel Girl, and defeat her with a giant jar of peanut butter.
